The Department of Pharmacology and the CRRR are hosting a visit by Valaria Cavalli from Washington University in St Louis on the 28th to 30th. She will be giving a seminar on the 29th in the Pharmacology seminar room entitled:
“Activating the axon regeneration program: from HIF1 to DNA methylation”

Dr. Cavalli is an Associate Professor of Neuroscience and she has incorporated the role of HIF and hypoxia in stimulating axonal growth following peripheral nerve or spinal cord injury.
