The fifth installment of the Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Adrianne Huxtable, PhD, on Friday, July 24. An assistant professor in the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon, Dr. Huxtable’s research focuses on the neural control of breathing, with a specific focus on how inflammation undermines breathing. Her seminar was entitled “Consequences of early life stressors for respiratory control.” This session was moderated by Elisa Gonzalez-Rothi, DPT, PhD, and Sarah Beyeler, MS.
