The sixth installment of the Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Robert Huckstepp, PhD, on Friday, July 31. An assistant professor in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Warwick, Dr. Huckstepp’s research focuses on respiratory and cardiovascular neurobiology, with a specific focus on the role of neurons and glia in the control of breathing. His seminar was entitled “Respiratory chemosensitivity in freely moving adult mice is more complex than previously thought.” NOTE: This session was NOT recorded for long-term viewing.
