CoBAD: Burns & O'Halloran

The eighth installment of the Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Ken O’Halloran, PhD, and David Burns, PhD, on Friday, August 14th. A professor and head of the Physiology Department at the University College Cork, Dr. O’Halloran’s research focuses on the control of breathing in health and disease, with an emphasis on respiratory muscle redox biology and neural control of respiratory behavior. A lecturer in the Physiology Department at the University College Cork, Dr. Burn’s research focuses on the control of breathing in neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders, with wider interests in cardio-respiratory physiology in health and disease.
