The tenth and final installment of the Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Alfredo Garcia, PhD, on Friday, August 28th. Dr. Garcia is an assistant professor of medicine at The University of Chicago. His most recent research focuses on understanding how local brain circuit physiology is impacted by changes in blood gas homeostasis, with a specific focus on the hippocampus and brainstem networks involved in cardio-respiratory control.
