CoBAD: Mulkey

The return of the Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Daniel Mulkey, PhD, on Friday, February 12th at 3:00 pm ET. Dr. Mulkey is a professor in the Department of Physiology and Neurobiology at the University of Connecticut. His most recent research involves the study of RTN chemoreception mechanisms with a focus on the roles of neurons, astrocytes, and vasculature under normal conditions and how disruption of these mechanisms contributes to breathing problems in various disease states. His presentation, “Disordered breathing in a mouse model of Pitt Hopkins syndrome,” was available in our Video Library for a limited time.
