SNIP Trainee Wins Research Presentation Award

Robert Lamprecht, a visiting undergraduate student from Wofford College, participated in this year’s Summer Neuroscience Internship Program sponsored by the McKnight Brain Institute, Neuroscience Department, Biomedical Sciences Grad program, and the Center for Aging and Memory. Robert spent an intense 10 weeks in center member Dr. Erica Dale’s laboratory studying epidural stimulation, breathing, and recovery after spinal cord injury. For all of his hard work and outstanding presentation skills, he was awarded the “Second Place Presentation Award in the Behavior, Circuits, and Systems Category” during the SNIP Research Celebration on August 3rd.
