The Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Drs. Estelle Gauda & Nades Palaniyar on Friday, March 11th at 3:00pm ET. Dr. Gauda’s most recent research interest is in novel therapies for the treatment and prevention of lung disease in premature infants. Dr. Palaniyar’s research focuses on the innate immune system, neutrophils, NETs, rare pediatric lung diseases, COVID-19, and other infectious and inflammatory diseases. Their seminar was entitled: “Novel proteins involved in innate immunity in the lung and metabolic syndrome.”
