The Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) International Online Seminar Series featured Dr. Richard Horner on Friday, April 8th at 3:00pm ET. Dr. Horner’s research identifies the brain cells and circuits underlying sleep, drug-induced sedation and anesthesia, and their impact on vital functions such as breathing and brain activity. His seminar was entitled: “Physiology of Upper Airway Motor Control & Translation to (Potential) Sleep Apnea Pharmacotherapy.”
