The Control of Breathing and Airway Defense (CoBAD) Seminar Series returned Friday, March 31 at 3:00pm ET. Our first speaker was Anton Sirota, PhD. Dr. Sirota’s research explores the neurophysiological mechanisms of information transfer within and between the neocortex and hippocampus during learning (acquisition) and sleep (consolidation). His seminar is entitled: “Breathing modulates memory consolidation dynamics during offline states in mice.”
