Dr. Gordon Mitchell and postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Alex Marciante recently attended the XVII Symposium on Sleep and Breathing in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Mitchell was invited as a plenary speaker and presented “In the Translational Flywheel: Therapeutic Acute Intermittent Hypoxia and Spinal Cord Injury“. Dr. Marciante also received the opportunity to give an oral presentation and was a chosen recipient of a Junior Investigator Award for her work entitled “Progressive Tauopathy Disrupts Breathing Pattern during Presumptive Sleep“.
