Alex Marciante Wins Junior Investigator Award at XVII Symposium on Sleep and Breathing

Dr. Gordon Mitchell and postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Alex Marciante recently attended the XVII Symposium on Sleep and Breathing in Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Mitchell was invited as a plenary speaker and presented “In the Translational Flywheel: Therapeutic Acute Intermittent Hypoxia and Spinal Cord Injury“. Dr. Marciante also received the opportunity to give an oral presentation and was a chosen recipient of a Junior Investigator Award for her work entitled “Progressive Tauopathy Disrupts Breathing Pattern during Presumptive Sleep“. Congratulations, Dr. Marciante!
