Position: Graduate student

Research focus: Investigating the underlying mechanisms of mutual crosstalk inhibition between two competing pathways leading to phrenic motor plasticity in an effort to optimize therapeutic protocols of acute intermittent hypoxia to restore respiratory function after traumatic and/or neurologic disorders.

Career goals: I hope to continue in academia and ultimately become a professor where I dedicate my time to both teaching and research.

What I do for fun: Love spending my days at the beach tanning and playing volleyball/spikeball. I am also a foodie and enjoy traveling and trying out new restaurants as often as possible.
