BREATHE Steering Committee member, Dr. Leah Reznikov, has been selected as the recipient of the 2021 Zoetis Award for Veterinary Research Excellence Award. Through this award, the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) recognizes researchers whose innovative work has advanced the scientific standing of veterinary medicine.
BREATHE T32 trainees had the opportunity to meet for lunch with Dr. Eileen Hasser, a cardiovascular physiology professor from University of Missouri. Dr. Hasser visited the University of Florida to present her talk, “Forebrain – hindbrain connections and the response to hypoxia?”, in the Department of Physiological Sciences Seminar Series.
